Lunches: Children are requested to bring a packed lunch however it is our hope that we will be able to offer home cooked lunches in the future, subject to demand and an additional charge.
Snacks: Included in the price.
Consumables charge: (this applies to such items as nappies, baby wipes, rash creams, nappy bags and sun creams)
Parents can either choose to contribute £3.00 per week for their child to use our supply of consumables or children must bring their own supply of consumables. Should any of our consumables be required, parents/carers will be subsequently charged.
Uniform: We do have uniform items available to buy. From September 2021, the polo shirts cost £9.50 and the sweatshirts cost £11.50 with sizes available in ages 2-3, 3-4, 5-6 and 7-8. Uniform is not essential but we believe that it is beneficial for a number of reasons - it helps with creating and maintaining a routine, it helps with the transition to school, on outings we can easily spot all of our children plus it saves own clothes from general wear and tear of having lots of fun.
As the Kindergarten is Ofsted registered, the Free Funded Hours can be used. All three and four year old children are entitled to either 15 (universal) or 30 hours (extended) hours which can be used in registered settings. Some two year olds can also access free funded hours. Please feel free to contact us for further information regarding this. Funded hours can be used within the hours of 9.000am to 4.00pm with wraparound hours being charged extra for. Childcare vouchers and tax free childcare schemes can also be used to pay for childcare.
Please visit www.childcarechoices.gov.uk to check your eligibility for funded hours and/or to apply. Please note that when a child turns three and is eligible for the universal 15 funded hours, no parental action is required other than completing a 'parental agreement form'; we can then apply to Lancashire County Council on your child's behalf.
Extra-curricular activities/outings: We do occasionally run extra curricular activities, some that are outsourced so there may well be an extra charge for these. Extra curricular activities are not compulsory however. We will enquire as to parental interest before booking any extra curricular activities.
Further questions: Please feel free to contact us by email [email protected], call or arrange a visit.
Registrations: Contact us to receive a registration form or if you would like to add your child's name to the waiting list to join us in the future.
